RT or Delete?: Flip Video Cameras

Do you Flip?  Oprah does!  So does Stephen Colbert.  Though flip video cameras have been around for several years, it seems as if there’s been a surge in their use as of late, and it’s no wonder why. 

Flip cams are an easy, inexpensive way to capture video anywhere, anytime.  They’re small and light, making them easy to carry, and the recording and editing process (the camera comes with its own software, Flipshare,) truly couldn’t be simpler.  An added bonus?  They come in several fun colors and different models, with varying allowable recording times.

The verdict: RT.  Who doesn’t love a gadget that’s both user-friendly and fun?

    You know, I never did understand these things. I almost purchased a flip mino HD but I purchased a small, slim Canon PowerShot SD780 IS instead – it not only shoots in HD but it is still a 10 mp point and shoot camera.

    Am I missing something here?

    I flip! And I love it! One of the easiest to use gadgets ever! I got mine before they come out with colors – but I would have probably choosen the black anyway ! :)

    I love my Fip. It fits into my pocket and is super easy to use! Helps me to get video of family events up on my Facebook super fast so grandma and grandpa can feel connected even though they are hundreds of miles away.

    Also, the way newsrooms are cutting back, wouldn’t be surprised to see Katie Couric or Diane Sawyer using a Flip soon!

    I have a flip and I also love it. I like carrying it around in my bag – you never know when you’ll want to capture something!

    My kids LOVE their flip. So easy for an 8 year old to use. They even got press badges at the local kid’s film festival and used it to interview other kids on their movie review site:

    The Flip was one of the reasons I started blogging – long story. I love them and have 3 now to boot. One of the best creations yet.
