It seems to me that mommy bloggers have begun to help companies see just how much technology and social media can help/hurt them. Facebook, Twitter, and blogs are currently three of the best ways to get a brand name out and top of mind. In the past week, I received three invitations to become a fan of a company that I had never even heard of, and after looking at their Facebook “fan” page, I did become one. And not only did I become a fan, but I invited my friends to become fans as well. Social media has opened up an entirely new world of opportunities for companies and is allowing them to expand at alarming rates. The combination of “fan” pages and targeted advertising will no doubt have a huge impact on advertising and marketing as we see it today.
Thanks for sharing those links.
Isn’t it amazing how technology has evolved the whole market/business place? Social media is definitely the new way to brand your business. You tell a friend, they tell 10 and they tell 20 more….word of mouth advertising at its greatest.
