For example, Women of Means is a volunteer physician organization that goes to Women's Lunch Place and other women's shelters to provide free medical care. We were contacted by one of their staff recently with a heads up that they are in need of donations to support the doctor's work. You can find more info on their website www.womenofmeans.org.
